Lourdes “Luli” Sanchez became known as a Brooklyn-based artist and printed-textile designer working in hand-painted watercolor media.
Historical profiles describe a long career designing prints for fashion before establishing an independent studio in 2004. Her work circulated through art, interiors and textile collaborations, including a licensed rug collection inspired by painted florals and geometrics.
